Our story: from a passion for fire to firewood specialists
Firewood Giant was born from a passion for fire. What began as a small venture in 2012 quickly grew into a serious business with a clear mission: to supply reliable kiln dried logs to thousands of households across the UK and Europe.
In 2012 we sold our very first pallet of firewood. The success of those early orders gave us the confidence to invest further and continuously expand our range.
Before long we added heat logs to our range. These compact and powerful fuel logs proved to be a brilliant addition. Wood pellets followed, meeting the growing demand for sustainable and efficient heating solutions.

How dry is your firewood?
All our firewood is kiln dried and has a moisture content of below 20%, making it Ready to Burn. This means it lights easily, burns evenly and produces more heat with less smoke. Kiln dried logs are also better for your stove and chimney, as they burn more cleanly and cause less build-up.
What is the difference between birch, oak and ash logs?
The main differences lie in density, burn time and heat output:
- Birch is a softer wood that ignites quickly and produces a beautiful flame display. Ideal for shorter burning sessions.
- Ash is a medium-density wood that combines a steady burn with good heat output.
- Oak is a very dense wood that burns slowly and produces a great deal of heat. Perfect for extended burning sessions.

How does pallet delivery work and where can the driver deliver?
Pallet orders are delivered via a professional logistics network. (Mini) pallets are delivered by a lorry or flatbed vehicle and placed as close as possible to your preferred location using a pallet truck, provided the ground is solid and accessible.
You can always specify a preferred drop-off location when placing your order. The driver will assess what is safe and practical. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, please feel free to contact us!
Do you offer returns or exchanges for damaged items?
Yes! If something has gone wrong with your delivery or a product has arrived damaged, we will always resolve it with you fairly. You can return the product within 14 days of receipt, provided it is in the same condition. Returns or exchanges for incorrectly delivered or damaged products are always free of charge.
