All our firewood is kiln dried to a moisture content below 20%, which makes it Ready to Burn certified and safe to use straight after delivery. Dry hardwood logs light easily, burn cleanly without crackling or hissing, and give you more heat with less smoke, so they are ideal for your wood-burning stove, fireplace or open fire. 

Looking for a longer, hotter burn? Our heat logs, also known as wood briquettes, are made from compressed sawdust with a very low moisture content. They burn hotter and last longer than many traditional logs, produce very little ash, and store neatly in a small space, which makes them a great companion to your kiln dried logs.

For pellet stoves and biomass boilers we also supply wood pellets. Made from compressed wood residue, they give a consistent, efficient and clean burn with minimal ash, and they are easy to handle and store. A practical choice if you heat your home with an automated pellet appliance.

The best type of wood to use for this depends on your personal preference. We recommend burning birch wood; it’s a light-coloured wood that ignites quickly and burns beautifully.
