Long burn time: oak burns significantly longer than softer woods like alder or birch
High heat output: delivers stable, consistent warmth over an extended period

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ready to Burn certification?

Ready to Burn is the UK's official certification for firewood and solid fuels with a moisture content of 20% or below. All our kiln dried logs carry the Ready to Burn mark, which means they are approved for sale in England under the government's air quality regulations and ready to burn straight away with no drying time needed. Choosing Ready to Burn certified logs means a cleaner, more efficient fire with less smoke, less tar build up in your chimney and more heat from every log.

Customer Reviews

Solid wood

Review by Vervust 10/09/2026

Easy and quick
to order
Great delivery, friendly driver
Slightly more small pieces than usual … the 33 and 25 cm lengths are mixed in exactly the right proportions
I’ll wait for the next order and see if the same problem occurs …

Well delivered

Various sizes

Lower quality but well resolved

Review by Wouter 8/04/2026

I’d ordered from them before and was always satisfied. But this time, the quality of the wood was poor. It was rotten, showed signs of woodworm, was very dusty and the wood was light in colour.
I contacted customer service, and they responded promptly with a suitable solution. All in all, excellent service.

Good customer service

Not as good as last time

Review by Rudy Van Lint 24/01/2026

The delivery was fine, but compared to the previous one, the logs were less split. There were a lot of thick logs that are harder to light.
